In June, our campus were transformed into one big playground filled with laughter, screams and joy. On Children’s Day, the employees of our tenant were able to enjoy a fun-filled family day with their children. They spent quality time together and their little ones had a blast on the inflatable playgrounds, tested their skills in various competitions, and learned about the universe in a portable planetarium.
The program was complemented by performances by artists and children’s entertainers. They danced to the songs of the famous children’s entertainer Ujo Ľubo and a magician showed them the magic of his craft. We were also visited by police officers and firemen, not because we were doing anything wrong, but to show our youngest visitors what their work entails, let them try on their equipment and learn interesting facts about their daily work.
Throughout the day there were food booths, drinks and of course treats for the little ones such as ice cream and cotton candy.
The biggest benefit of the day was that parents could show their children where their mom or dad works, take a look at the offices, and familiarize themselves with their work environment.
In today’s world, there is a great emphasis on finding a balance between work and personal life. So employers are trying to bring these two worlds together and allow children to see their parents’ work environment. And if they have fun doing it, it can only end in a fantastic way.
